Friday Lunch!

Hello!
Posting again! Term tests are nearing once again and i've got totally no idea of what is going on right now during my modules. Well, not all exactly but most of it, so i need really need to study during these few weeks. Luckily, i've only got like 2 term tests this semester!! So i can focus just on 2 and i'll get my holiday faster!! But one other thing about having lesser exam based subjects is that you'll have more project based ones, and there's assignment for every one of them. So gotta work on my assignments as well. HAHA

Shall stop there about exams, brings more stress only, HAHA. Had lunch with my friends yesterday, some of them came to my school and we all got together for lunch, but not everyone was there, but i had quite a good time eating with them and just being around them. Had lunch at this korean stall at the food court in the school and damn, it was filling for something that costs $4!! Only!! I ordered the Korean mixed rice (aka Bibimbap) it was filled with veggies and i feel healthier just by eating it. HAHAA.

It tastes really good, my virgin try of Bibimbap so i'm not really sure how it tastes compared to korean food made by real korean people. But that stall really makes good food!

Makes me hungry just by looking at it!! Will definitely try out all the food on that stall's menu, but i rarely go there because it always damn crowded, but i think because yesterday was CCN day(like a bazar event in my school to raise funds for students that need the money) was it wasn't that crowded in the food court. But the Business school was damn crowded, had a walk there before lunch and it was a human traffic jam. LOL. Bought a few stuff and spent quite a lot of money yesterday. HAHA. 

After lunch, we went to watched The Other Woman !! It was damn hilarious!! WHY DIDN'T I KNOW ABOUT THAT MOVIE. LOL. Basically, it was a Friday well spent with people whom i enjoy being around the most!! :DD 

Well, gonna enjoy the rest of my Saturday, gonna try and study something or do my assignments tomorrow. ;)

Lola's Cafe!

Happy Vesak Day! HAHA. Today's a public holiday and i've decided to post something here before studying for my quiz tomorrow. Since i'm not really in the mood to study, i hope like always, after writing a post i'll get the motivation to study for my test. HAHA. Well, something that i did recently was to have dinner with my friends, although this was weeks ago, i had no time to post about it so i'm gonna post about it today. That day, we went to a small cafe around Kovan for dinner and it was crowded, lucky we've made a reservation beforehand if not, there wouldn't be any seats for us. 

I didn't order anything filling that day but i did pinch a bit here and there from my friends plates, HAHA. And it wasn't bad. I ordered a latte, i think it was a latte and the taste wasn't bad. It was my first time drinking a latte. HAHA. Drank those canned lattes before but it tastes so different. Not sure if it was a good latte because i'm not an coffee expert but it wasn't bad. And wasn't very cheap either. HAHA

My friend here, ordered a burger i think for her dinner, although i'm not sure how it tasted but it looks so appealing!! Forgot to ask my friend for her comments. HAHA. But i'm gonna try it the next time i go there!

Here's one thing that i did buy (although i shared it with my friends) CHEESE FRIES!  Favourite food since not sure when. HAHA. Not really sure why i'm so excited over cheese fries, i think it was because of KFC but their cheese fries, IS REALLY GOOD. One of the best cheese fries i've ate so far! Love the taste of the cheese as well as their fries! A lot more than KFC's fries. HAHA.

The food there is really not bad, one of my other friend ordered this beer fried fish and although i don't really like beer but the taste is SOOO GOOD. Also wanna try that the next time i go but i can;t eat that much XD Haha. 

Well, that's all about the food i tried before. HAHA. Got 2 quizzes coming up, one tomorrow and one on Thursday, Gonna study for the one tomorrow, hope i can get at least 10% out of the 15% from this quiz. HAHA. Would be a great start for this semester! Bye~

First post of May 2014!

Hello!
Posting again! Been busy these few days with school and didn't had the feel to post. Nothing much going on these days, just school, home and internet. Except for Wednesdays! When i meet my friends and go for dinner together. We used to study together, but now we're in different places, so it's really stress relieving and fun for me to meet up with them!! Makes my week better. We met up yesterday as well with my friend's mum for dinner and pool after that. Her mum's really good! She treated us to dinner and accompanied us to the pool place. Yesterday was the most fun i've had this week. Really looking forward to next week but i'm not sure if i can go or not because of my parents. Lol. They complain that i always go out when it's only one day a week with my closest friends. It's not like i stay out late everyday, every week. But just that one day and they can nag for so long if i tell them i'm going out for dinner with my friends. Although they're better now but it still sucks because it's only one day a week! And it's not like i spend a lot of money or eat expensive stuff. Really. Lol.

Something else i would like to post about is that life can be so unpredictable you know? Saw this article about a student getting into a traffic accident and it just that it reminded me about that incident that happened in my secondary school when i was in my second year. That day we lost a schoolmate and people lost their friend, really makes me think. And i should probably stop thinking about it but life is really fragile and unpredictable. So i'll enjoy every moment now. Even watching ANIMES!! HAHA. As well as study more! Been feeling more lazy this semester. And this it the semester where everything gets harder! I'm pretty sure my grades will suffer but i hope not too much. I REALLY NEED TO WORK HARD. I'll start next week. AHAH. To pay more attention in class. LOL.

I think i'll stop here for now. Gotta make full use of my time, gonna watch something to pass my time till bedtime comes. T.G.I.F!! It's Friday tomorrow!! :DD

Turkey Trip!

Posting again! Hehe. Well, started my second week of school and also the first session of CDS! So far so good. But i already got one assignment. Lol. Needs to be submitted by next week. But the happiest thing that happened today was MY CDS HAS A TURKEY TRIP! And my parents said YES! But the money from the trip is coming out of my own pocket. HAHA. That sucks. HAHA. Luckily there's subsidy! But the money will have to come out of my pocket first and then when the subsidy is approved, i'll get back the money. Not sure if my bank balance is enough but it's one in a life time experience, so why not? Right? I'm so excited right now that i can't wait for the trip!! But it's in June. Which is like in around one month's time? Seems so long but it's actually not very long. Been wanting to go overseas for so freaking long!! And finally got my chance! There's also subsidy! Which is good because i'm not very rich. Neither are my parents. HAHA.

Well, that's one happy thing that happened so far since i've started school. I'm really happy that i choose this CDS because there's an overseas trip!! HAHA. SO EXCITED. But there's quite a few number of assignments and even presentations. That's the down part of this CDS, but still the trip will make up for it! HEHE. Even though it's a study trip and we'll have to do a project after we come back but it's wroth it! HAHAHA. Gonna stop here for now. 8AM lesson tomorrow. Nights!

First week of second year!

Hey!
Posting again! First week of my second year in poly passed without much problems! Been a tiring week because i'm still trying to adapt to the early morning classes that i have this semester. All my classes now start either at 9, 8 or 10am and it's damn tiring. It's not worse than secondary school but since i'm so used to waking up a bit late, 8am lessons are too much for me. Still in the process of adapting but it'll take some time since it's been one year since i left secondary school and it's not as easy as before haha. Worse thing is that, on Tuesdays i end at 9pm! Freaking 9pm! Shouldn't had chosen that CDS if i known i would end so late. But it's only Tuesday because my Wed, Thurs and Fri timing is not affected because my CDS is one shot 3 hours! HAHA

Talking about ending late, it's only the second week of school and i already have a make up lesson which is on Friday. :/ But luckily, Thursday is LABOUR DAY! School just started and i already have a public holiday. HAHA. Wish more holidays like these would come XD Kinda wasted my Sunday by staying and chasing my drama... I wish weekends are longer. But life has to go on even if i complain. HAHA. Super tired right now, think i'll sleep early tonight. :) That's all for now. Bye~

Waffles and sweets for dinner!

Hello! Posting again!! Hehe. yes, school started and i already finished my fourth day at school, so far the subjects are fine but it's too damn boring! And i'm still kinda in my holiday mood so it's a but stressful to take it all that stuff from school but luckily i have my friends to help relieve some stress!

We went to a place near nex, called Wimbly Lu Chocolates for dinner it wasn't cheap but the food was good and the place was so freaking nice. Not what i expected because from the outside and especially at night that place looks so "ulu ulu" HAHA. Here's a photo of the place:

We ordered baked rice, waffles (main reason why people come here), drinks and some sides. The price didn't come out to cheap but i think it was worth the money! Maybe except for the drink i ordered. Lol

Their seafood baked rice wasn't bad! It was quite filling as well, the overall taste and look was good as well!

Well, as for the drink, the rest of my friends drinks were quite okay but mine was damn small, i'm not even joking. The cup was so small that i would've thought it was for a baby. I ordered their macchiato(just found out that it really strong so it came in a small cup) and damn i was shocked because i've never had a macchiato before and it was 4 bucks. Kinda regretted it a bit because although i like coffee but i'm not too fond of expressos.

Next dish was their WAFFLES! At first i regretting going to that place because i thought we were only gonna have waffles for dinner (which didn't seem appealing) but damn their waffles was good! It's crispy and the ice cream was damn nice too!

Overall, that place was not bad. It was my first time to a waffle place so i'm not sure what to expect but from someone who never went to a waffle place, it was good! The ambience there was good too, no wonder they were full when we went in and has to wait. But one thing is that, they should really put pictures, one of the dish we ordered didn't really meet our expectations and it was something we could really make at home by ourselves. But the overall experience wasn't bad and i would recommend it to my other friends as well. HAHA. Thanks to my best bunch of friends, i manage to make it through the first depressing week of school!! :D

Universal Studios!

Hello!
Haven't been posting for a few weeks and decided to write a post today! As the day to the start of a new semester is coming, i really don't feel like going to school and study again. I'm so tired and just want to have holidays like these forever!! HAHA. I think i'll be spending the last of my holidays at home because i spent too much money already. Haha.

One of the reasons of spending too much money is because of the trip with my friends to Universal Studios!!! It was fun! Although it's about a few weeks back but because i was too lazy to post but still i enjoyed this semestral holiday the most!! Took the transformers ride for the first time because the last time i went it hasn't opened yet and i can tell you it was one of the best rides in USS!!

 The second one that was so cool was the Sherk 4D experience! It never gets old as the 4D theater is really cool. (Battlestar Galatica wasn't opened too bad)

Took the Revenge of the Mummy a few times because we can!! HAHA It was the ride i enjoyed most at USS! Didn't take a photo for this hehe, but IT WS FUN AND THRILLING!

Had lunch outside of USS because the food inside is not cheap! Although i've heard they give large portions but we ate outside of USS anyways. There's this Aston's Specialities restaurant right outside of USS. (Not directly outside though, still had to walk a bit) It's portions are quite large, larger than the one i ordered at the outlet at Changi Airport (Not sure if i was lucky that day)

Overall it was a fun day and one of the best day i've spent during this holiday. I hope this bunch of friends could stick with me till we're all old!! HAHA. I still feel more comfortable with my secondary school friends but i'm kinda more open now with my poly friends as well. Hope i can become closer with all of them during the new semester!
