Last Post of December 2014

It's that time of the year again! When the last day of the year ends and the new year arrives! This will be my last post of December and of 2014!!! I will be spending my last day of December doing work :/ HAHAH. So sad :( But!! This year i will be celebrating the New Year with my cousins! Celebrated last year with my friends and was supposedly to do so too but my cousins "booked" me first. HAHAH. So i will be spending the first Morning of 2015 and the last night of 2014 at their house!!

Hopefully i'll finish most of my stuff tomorrow and i can enjoy the last few days of my holiday!! Cheers~~ :D

Projects and Cupcakes :D

Christmas just passed yesterday and i'm left with another week to complete all my projects :( Haven't been doing anything much the last few days, except for part of my modelling assignment and i'm feeling really lazy right now, but i still have to do it and i will be doing it after this blog post. :) After that, i might be considering doing other stuff next week and hopefully i would feel more motivated!! I really need the motivation! :(

Other than that, i recently got to try Twelve Cupcakes after i've been saying i want to try it for almost 2 years!! It's not bad, i tried the Red Velvet flavour, which was the best seller of the cup-cakery.
HEHE, only the middle one is mine though :(
Bought the three for $9, with two of it being my sister's :( HAHAH. I really want to try it again and i think i'll be buying it maybe next week or tomorrow! Would love to try the other flavours!

Close up of the Red Velvet
Defnitiely makes my day happier just looking at the visually appealing cupcakes, especially now, when i just feel so stressed about the leftover school work. Well, will post again! Gonna try and start on my work! :)

Din Tai Fung for dinner :D

It's been a while since i've eaten at Din Tai Fung and i've got the chance to eat there again last Sunday!! I went to my aunt's house last Sunday with my mum and sister, and we went for dinner together at Din Tai Fung at Tampines Mall!! The last time i ate there was back in 2011 and it's been too long.

We had some main dishes such as fried rice and beef noodles, but the main reason to eat there is because of their 小笼包!! HAHA. Although i can't say that it is the best, but it definitely isn't the worst!!
Their fried rice with egg!
The fried rice is definitely one of the best among the dishes that we ordered. Is isn't that salty or oily and tastes like eggs (obviously). And i think it's pretty healthy, since it isn't that salty or oily. The taste of the rice is completely relies on the eggs, which i think they used a lot for one plate of fried rice. HAHAH. But it's definitely good. I would wanna try the Fried rice with Pork Chop next time!

Beef Noodles!
First time eating their beef noodles and it's not that bad, although the taste of the beef is very strong, the meat is soft, easy to chew. There was quite a lot of noodles as well, and the portion of the meat they gave was quite huge as well!

THE MAIN DISH!!

The main dish is of course the 小笼包(Xiao Long Bao, XLB)!! HAHA. Definitely tasty and a must order when going to DTF!!

Blogging about this because i'm not sure when will i be going there again, but i would definitely try to go back soon!!

S.E.A Aquarium!

I recently went to the S.E.A Aquarium at Sentosa again but this time round with my cousins! From my mum's side. HAHAH. Since they've got free tickets and they wanted to bring my other cousin around, who came from Malaysia to visit us.

We went on a Friday and it wasn't as crowded as it will be on a Saturday. The last time i went was on a weekend and it was crazy. The queue to enter was short, but there were many people already inside the aquarium. This time round, i got to walk more slowly, but sadly didn't take much photos because it was freaking crowded. But i did get a few shots ;)

CHRISTMAS TREE?!

Cute!! HAHA. Looks like it has a face

Just some of the photos i've taken, not posting private ones with my face. Hehe. After the aquarium and dinner, we went to the Marina Bay Sands area, hoping to see the Christmas lighting at Gardens By the Bay, but unfortunately, my cousin complained that he was too tired and couldn't walk anymore, so we had to leave without seeing the lights. But i did get to see the Super Trees lights!! And i took a video of it!!

Marina Bay Sands in it's full glory

AMAZING VIEW!!

And lastly, we went to the promenade to lepak. HAHAH. It's more beautiful at night and it was relaxing. Right before the week of my term tests. But now, i have to get back to revising. Term test on Friday!!

Lunching at SUKIYA!!

Today's officially the last day of November!! Woo~~ It's gonna be December in a few more hours and my birthday is around the corner!! Can't wait to see what i'll get!! Hehe. And it's the Christmas season!! Wonder what present would i get this year?? HAHA. I'm currently thinking what to get for my mother, since she has the same birthday as me and we never really gotten her a present. I might get it together with my sister since i don't have so much money. HAHAHA.

Recently, i've went to Sukiya with my poly friends. HAHA. IT WAS SO GOOD. But i always regret eating so much there ramen. Their soup base is the best! And the price was okay as well.

Double soup base hot pot!
I would recommend their Sukiyaki, Laksa and the Butauiku soup bases! Those 3 are the best! And their cheeseballs!!! Extremely nice. Of course, eating hotpot without instant noodles is not a hotpot!!! I always love my hotpot with ramen or instant noodles. There's even udon!!

Look at those noodles!!
Wish blogger could include those emo-cons like Whatsapp emoji keyboard because using a emoji to describe these would be better than using words!! It's really paradise. Heheh. But, never, never eat so much noodles. I always tell myself that before going in, but i always eat too much noodles! HAHAH. Makes me feel like my stomach is gonna burst. Lol. Other than that, the food is really worth it since it's a buffet. Lemme relive those memories before going to school tomorrow. T.T

BUTTTT, it's the last week of school again!! HAHHA. That was fast. Only started school for 6 weeks! 6 weeks!! And it's time for another 3 weeks of holidays. :DD

Gardens By the Bay :)

Went to Gardens by the Bay after school today! Finished school at 12:30pm and went there to take some photos with my friends. It was great! I didn't really explore Gardens by The Bay since it opened, so it was a good chance for me to finally visit the place and not just view it from the outside. The weather was moderate, not to humid, not rainy, it was just right to take photos.

Looks good eh?
It was a productive day, a day for me to relieve some stress before the term test next next week. And the test tomorrow. :( Have two quizzes tomorrow and i haven't study a single thing, lol. Here's the rest of the photos. :D

Went to the Shoppes and the Marina Bay area
We went to the Marina Bay financial area after the photos and wow, the place was decorated with christmas trees!! And Christmas is coming!! So is my birthday. XD Can't wait for my birthday!!

Tea break ;)

What's better than a tea break with friends after school? HAHA. Went for tea-break with secondary school friends after school. Too much stress at work and i decided to do something else before going home. We went to Carl's Junior at Tampines 1, and tried their Chilli Beef Cheese Fries, which has a huge portion! And it was so good!! Definitely worth the money. Plus, there's a free flow of drinks and the outlet seems quite empty which is good for studying. Might study there one day. HAHAH.

Look at that portion! It might not look that much but trust me, it's filling

ALL THAT CHEESE :DD
The fries were seriously good, better than KFC's cheese fries (and KFC's a bit over priced). After the tea break, we went to the Expo for the VANS SALE!! They were selling Vans shoes from lowest S$19 bucks! I bought 2 shoes for 19 each and it's so worth it!! Looks so good. Too bad i deleted the pictures of the shoes. HAHAH.

Look at the total XD But it's totally worth it
We bought lots of other stuff there although most of it are titbits which my friend bought. HAHAH. The person that paid the most on titbits. HAHAH. So freaking tired. Shall finish my lecture fast and go to bed.

New Phone!

I've decided to write one more post. HAHA. Since i've been away from my blog for so long. Although i got the phone about a week ago, i'm still gonna post it. XD

Finally, the day has come for me to re-contract!! Been waiting for a year!! XD. Lol. I recently got the Sony Xperia Z3 (BIG SONY FAN :D) And it's great. Battery life is awesome and jaw dropping. Although the battery capacity is smaller than the Z2 but it packs a punch as well!! I can play games and use it normally (browsing, messaging, music) and it still has about 60 to 50% when i get home on Monday! (School starts at 9am and ends at 7pm)

Xperia Z and it's younger brother!
Hehe, although it's only been a year since i switched to the Xperia Z, I do feel a bit guilty of spending so much. And not that the Z is not a great phone, it's just that the battery can't keep up with the processing speed of the Z. It just runs out very fast. Well, it's another collect to my Xperia family!

Xepria Ion~

Tiring week

Time passes really fast. It's already the fifth week since i've started school! Extremely tired, both mentally and physically, it's only the start of the week and i'm feeling like shit right now. HAHAHA. But nonetheless, i've enjoyed my weekends well :)

Tried a few new stuff the last weekend. Since it was a stay home week, i tried making the Korean Spicy Rice Cake!! My first attempt wasn't bad. Bought all the ingredients at this mini supermarket opposite my house, surprisingly, it was cheap! And has quite a large portion as well.

Here's my red and spicy rice cake!!
It might not look that good but it tastes good. XD Shall think of more stuff to put inside when i get another chance to make it! HAHA. It was my lunch for that day with my Japanese Ramen!!

HEHE! My Nissin Black Kyushu Noodles!!
This ramen is one of the best instant noodles i've ever tasted!! Big fan! HAHA. Although Kimchi ramen would be better with the spicy rice cake. XD Went out after that for a walk at Pasir Ris Park with my friend and it's been a long time since i've walked on a beach under the sunny tropical climate of Singapore, with clear blue skies, with no haze, it was the best! HAHA.

Pasir Ris Park Beach

The Blue SKIES <3 td="">

Looks like they've been at work cleaning the beach
Not to mention, the beach got damn clean!! Maybe because it's too hot and lesser people are outside. HAHAH. But it's definitely cleaner than the last time i went which was about 2 years ago? HAHA. I should really go to these places more often instead of shopping malls. Nature at it's best. (Although the park is man-made) HAHAH.

Last week of holidays :(

I hate it every time when this time of the semester ends. It's finally my last week of holidays and i can tell you that i always cannot accept that fact that school is just going to start again :( It's been relaxation for like almost 2 months and i've gotta pick myself up to prepare to study harder than before! I've already seen my GPA dropped and i don't want it to drop any further. I hope that this semester i will be able to concentrate and pull up my CGPA again. But for now, lemme enjoy the last 4 short days of my holidays T.T

Been kinda busy for this week, spending my last week of holiday productively, went to get my acne scars treated on Wednesday and i can tell you that it hurts, A LOT. The treatment i went through was subcision, where you get bruises for almost a week after the treatment and the scar will slowly grow new skin which will eventually even out the scar. I really hope this treatment works because i paid almost 500 SGD for it!! If it doesn't i'll probably not go for the next one. HAHAH.

Spending my time with this plastic flower while i wait 1 hour
They applied numbing cream on my face for an hour and i had to sit there with this plastic wrap around my face. HAHAHA. I even had a shower cap on, i look ridiculous. HAHAH. But one hour passed quite fast as i spent it with this plastic flower that i was sitting beside with. HAHAH. And enjoyed the scenery. It was the subcision process that hurts the most, while the doctor injects anaesthetic into each scar before he starts the procedure. But it was over in a while, the doctor tried his best to not let it hurt too much while giving me the anaesthetic. HAHAH.

AJISEN RAMEN!!!
My second last weekend of the holidays was fruitful too! Went to hang out with my aunt and cousins on my mum's side and we went for AJISEN RAMEN!!! Which i hadn't had in a long time! My friends always say that it isn't nice, but i kinda enjoy their ramen! It isn't the best, but it's one of the best i've ever eaten! Maybe it's because i didn't try other ramen store before, but Ajisen is definitely not that bad.

Well, that's how i spent my remaining few days of my holidays. I'm going out with my friends for a buffet at BUFFETTOWN!!! ALL I CAN THINK OF IS THE SALMON BELLY!! Which is free flow!! Can't wait for tomorrow!!

Butterscotch Cafe Dinner!

T.G.I.F again! Hehe. Time passes really fast when you're having your holidays. HAHA. Went out for dinner with my friends yesterday at Bukit Merah, which is kinda far for me because i stay at the north-eastern part of SG, but i think it was worth it since i got the chance to try this cafe that my friend recommended. We were supposed to go there for work, but since i was "fired" i just went for the cafe. Hehe.

Chicken Chop with Eggs! $16
I ordered the Chicken Chop with Eggs which costs $16 but the portion was quite huge and the sides were not bad! The chicken chop is covered in a mushroom sauce? But i'm sure sure what kind of mushroom it was. HAHA. I had a hard time finishing the chicken chop because it was kinda filling. HAHA.

Caramel Macchiato
For the drink, i ordered the Caramel Macchiato, which was about $5, it wasn't too bitter but was too sweet. But compared to the Mocha, this has a "stronger" taste. Which makes it nicer than their Mocha. Wanted to actually order the cold drinks, but it was $1.50 more expensive compared to the hot drinks. HAHAH. (cheapskate)

Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict
My friend ordered their Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, which comes with a salad side, which she didn't really like. But i thought it was good. HAHA. This wasn't bad either, but she was the only one that ordered a different dish, HAHA. The rest of us ordered the same thing, which was the chicken chop. HAHA. For dessert, we had their Butterscotch Souffle, which we went there for, other than the chicken chop, HAHAH. Too bad i didn't take a photo because the souffle was served late. We ordered 2 souffles because there were 7 of us, and asked the souffle to be served later but later when we asked for it, only one came and i think one of the waitress gave ours to the wrong table because i overheard their conversation, with that table saying they didn't ask for it yet, but she repiled "But you ordered it right?" Before placing the souffle on their table. In the end we had to wait for quite a while for our second souffle. But at least of one of the waiter overheard our conversation and apologised for the wait, but luckily we weren't rushing for time, if not we would've cancelled that order and demand a refund (Just kidding). HAHAH.

The overall experience was good, might go there again if i ever visit that part of Singapore and i've spent too much recently (meal costed me around 25+ dollars) especially when i do not have income now. HAHAH.

Part time job

Yesterday i replied to the email that "fired" me from my part time job, and guess what, "they" didn't reply. Well, it's fine. They're not the only part time job that i can find, since i've already decided on not working until next holiday, i'll just enjoy the rest of my current holidays slacking at home and maybe going out with friends. HAHA. Just wanted to earn some money to get me past my holidays because i don't get any allowance. But now i've gotten over it, doesn't matter if they don't want me to work anymore, i don't even give a shit about the reason they "fired" me. It's just a part time job in the end. I was just a bit pissed about the fact that they suddenly cancelled the job confirmation when it was they who sent a email to confirm the job, so i confirmed it with them. And they cancelled it in 2 lines of email. My reaction was "WTF" then after i thought about it, the job is not that fantastic either and it didn't even had a interview, not sure if it is considered a part time job. So i've decided to get a proper part time job during the next holidays.

Started my morning by eating pancakes i made by myself and watching Wreck It Ralph again because the movie is sooo good! I think it in fact has a better storyline than Frozen but it didn't do as well as Frozen. HAHA.

I'll be slacking at home because it's kinda rainy today and it's the best weather to stay at home and lay in bed or just sitting in front of my computer and watch some movies!!

RESULTS IS OUT.

Been waiting for this day ever since holidays started! And it was finally here yesterday. My results. Not gonna brag, but i thought i would do very badly for this semester because i kinda lost my motivation to study. BUTTTT! My results came out looking quite okay! I got my first distinction!!! YAY. But this time round i only got mostly Bs and one A. Which brings my total GPA to 3.42 for this semester! I've already predicted it to be this bad, my CGPA however, looks good. 3.62. A 0.16 drop from my CGPA from last year. Which isn't too bad. Now i can enjoy my holidays with a peaceful mind. HAHAH.

I've recently started a part time job, which you only send emails for the day you want to work on and they'll confirm it for you again. It was a stocktake job for the National Library Board(NLB) under the company, Wavex (Singapore), and today i just got a email from them that my confirmed job for tomorrow and Monday was cancelled because i didn't 'meet their job expectations' on Monday. I've already worked 5 days prior to this Monday's job. I wasn't sure what they meant by 'not meeting their expectations' since i felt that i did my job right. Sure, i've made some mistakes but i'm only human. So i replied asking what went wrong. So let's wait and see what do they reply, because i'm seriously baffled. Not because i was cancelled, but because they gave a 'not meeting our expectations' reason.

We'll see. Other than that, my holidays been great. Since i've already got some money for working my ass off during midnight for their stocktake job, i'll take this chance for a break. It's not like i wanted to go for this week cause it's so fucking far from where i reside. I confirmed with them because they sent the email and now they cancelled my job with 2 lines of 'did not meet our expectations'. If they give a reasonable reason for cancelling it, i'll admit it's my fault but i just can't accept it if they just say i 'did not meet their expectations'.

Last Day in Hong Kong :(

My last day in Hong Kong was a bit more relaxed, with my flight at 5pm (it was actually 4, but was delayed), me and my cousins got to walk around a little bit while my aunts went to visit some temples. Wished the whole trip could be as relaxed as my last day because the last few days were seriously tiring. Going with my aunt is like going with a tour group which defeats the purpose of 'free and easy' while traveling alone. Nonetheless, my aunt tried to make this trip as enjoyable and spent quite a lot on me and my sister and it wasn't a trip that bad. HAHA.

First thing in the morning, we went for breakfast nearby our hotel, and it is DAMN CHEAP, like seriously cheap. It was around 20 SGD for 6 sets? Or less than that, but i could remember it was cheap!
A change from dim sum for breakfast!
The place was called Cafe De Coral, and their set meals are good and filling for breakfast! It also came with a drink. It was probably the cheapest meal i've ever had in a cafe. I would totally go on a eating spree in Hong Kong at their cafes to find the best one if i ever get the chance to go back there. HAHAH. After breakfast we window-shopped a bit before going back to the hotel to pack up.

View from my hotel room :)
The view from my hotel room was great!! I could see the International Commerce Centre Tower from my window!! HEHE. The room was also great, with a small TV, a mini fridge (which isn't very cold) and a clean toilet!! What you'd expect in a four star hotel! We checked out at around 1.30pm then walked around the shopping mall below the hotel and bought some stuff (my aunt paid again) back home!! I bought a pair of converse for 40 SGD!! It costs like 60 SGD to buy the exact same pair back in SG. Will definitely shop more the next time i go to HK :)

Took Cathay Pacific home and the service wasn't bad!
We boarded the plane at around 5:10pm (due to the long queue) and reached back home at about 9.30pm? I already missed the time i spent in HK right after i disembarked the plane but nothing last forever! I would definitely go again!!
